A peek into the conceptualisation of a restaurant renovation. My design approach leans into tradition, nature, and human connection. For this concept, I envisioned a space that evokes the feeling of stepping into old Japan—where every table offers a sense of intimacy, yet the experience unfolds in the heart of a European city.
The design centres around natural, traditional materials. The floor plan features shoji—the iconic Japanese room dividers—to create privacy and bathe the interior in a soft, diffused light.
